Continuing our club's Rotary Reads Service Project at Long Neck Elementary School, club members will meet at the school and distribute 2 grade appropriate books to all students at Long Neck Elementary. This project is coordinated through a long standing relationship with Browse About Books and Long Neck Elementary faculty.
Our newest club member, Ms. Jvonne Oliver, will be sharing her autobiography with the club at today's meeting. We are excited to welcome her as a member of the Long Neck Sunrise Rotary Club.
Board meeting will be held via Zoom beginning at 6:30 pm. Please contact President Apryl Parcher for zoom sign in details. Club members are also welcome to attend via zoom.
Club president Apryl Parcher will conduct a club assembly sharing any pertinent information from the Board meeting with club members. The balance of the club meeting time will be devoted to club committee meetings.
Today's club meeting will be a recognition of students from Sussex Central High School to include the three "Service Above Self" Scholarship Recipients, the two Morse Building Trades Scholarship Recipients and the three students who attended the Rotary Youth Leadership Awards weekend in February.
